Viva Pharm has won the Championing Human Capital Award at the EBRD Sustainability and Impact Awards
10 JuneViva Pharm has won the Championing Human Capital Award at the EBRD Sustainability and Impact Awards, held during the Annual Meeting in Riga. The award recognises the company's' antimicrobial resistance (AMR) capacity-building programme, developed in partnership with the British Society for Antimicrobial Chemotherapy (BSAC), with support from EBRD and the Government of Japan — an initiative driving long-term, systemic impact in the region.
Viva Pharm is a Kazakhstan-based pharmaceutical producer and distributor, with manufacturing operations in Almaty and a portfolio of over 50 in-house medicines spanning multiple therapeutic categories. EBRD has supported Viva Pharm through financing under our Risk Sharing Facility, enabling the expansion of cancer and hormonal medicines production, and with business advice on GMP standards, IFRS reporting, and sustainable business growth.
