The localization of pharmaceutical production is one of the main strategic directions of the pharmaceutical industry development in our country. The large international pharmaceutical companies are beginning to get involved in the transfer process of technologies by way of placing orders at the Kazakh plants.

The signing of the contract between Johnson&Johnson and the Kazakh company "VIVA PHARM" for localization of the production final stages and preparation for the sales of products (gel for external use “Dikloran Plus”) became the latest example. Under the terms of the agreement, the packaging stage of the product has been moved to the production site of Kazakh partner possessing all the necessary for the achievement of the successful cooperation.

The outsourcing of the packaging stage gives certain advantages to the foreign manufacturers during the transportation and drugs storage, as well as at the time of the products promotion to the Kazakh pharmaceutical market.
