Antiviral drug for systemic usage. Active substance is the valaciclovir hydrochloride 556 mg (equivalent to valaciclovir 500 mg). Indications for use: ophthalmic zoster caused by virus of zoster herpes; skin and mucosa infection caused by HSV including the recurrent genital herpes revealed firstly;
Relapses prevention (suppression) of skin and mucosa infection caused by virus of ordinary herpes including genital herpes, labial herpes (labial fever); progression preventing of the precipitation during usage as far as the first relapse symptoms appearance of the ordinary herpes; suppressing therapy to reduce the health partner’s infecting with genital herpes in combination with safe sex; preventing of cytomegaloviral CMV infection arising while organ transplantation.
