Head and Neck Cancer (HNC) Early Diagnosis Week
2 AugustIt is a second year in a row that our country is participating Head and Neck Cancer (HNC) Early Diagnosis Week under the guidance of the European Head and Neck Society, EHNS), Ministry of health and social development of the Republic of Kazakhstan and arranged with support of German company Merk and VIVA PHARM LLC. Specialists are planning to examine over 1 600 people within the event.
Every citizen of Kazakhstan will be able to pass a checkup to diagnose growth located in head and neck areas at early stages and diagnose an inveterate non-cancerous pathology, that will allow prevention of cancer upon timely treatment.
Checkups will be conducted by the multidisciplinary team of specialists, such as, oncologist, ORT-specialist, dentist.

Head and Neck Cancer (HNC) Early Diagnosis Week is realized within state program “Densaulyk” for years 2016-2020, key tasks of which being: promotion of the health of population on the basis of securing sanitary welfare, prevention of risk factors, mainstreaming healthy diet and motivation for healthy lifestyle.
