In August Kazakh Scientific Oncology and Radiology Research Institution with support of Viva Pharm LLC  had initiated a large-scale campaign named “European Head and Neck Cancer (HNC) Early Diagnosis Week” to educate ENT specialists and dentists from Almaty, Astana, Ust-Kamenogorsk and Shymkent to be wary of early symptoms of cancer.

It is necessary to remember that head and neck cancer at early stages may be diagnosed by oneself. Symptoms for the person are struggling to swallow , pain in one side of his\her neck,  constant or increasing hoarseness, pain in his\her tongue, hard-to-heal mouth ulcers and\or red or white spots, nasal blockage, nosebleeds, feeling of a debride in mouth or tumor in neck area;  if any of those symptoms lasts for more than three weeks it is highly advised to seek a medical advice.  

The main task is to diagnose the disease at the incipient stage and start an immediate treatment.
